Microsoft recently rolled out a new Windows 10 Creators Update build for PCs, bringing a series of new features and bug fixes. More specifically, build 15025 adds two important accessibility improvements for visually-impaired users: braille support in Narrator and a new mono audio option in Ease of Access settings.

Microsoft also introduced a new Collections feature in the Feedback Hub, reducing the number of duplicate pieces of feedback. The new Collections feature groups feedback for similar problems and suggestions into single items. Insiders can also upvote Collections.

Windows 10 build 15025 brings many bug fixes, but the bad news is that annoying install issues are still present. Microsoft confirms that it may look that build 15025 gets stuck at 0% or at other percentages, but that’s not the case. The build actually downloads in the background and will eventually install.

If the download and install process won’t advance even after a couple of hours, follow the troubleshooting steps listed below:

You may see “Initializing…” when attempting to download this build and the download progress indicator shown when downloading this build may seem broken under Settings > Update & security > Windows Update. It may look like you’re getting stuck at 0% or at other percentages. Ignore the indicator and be patient. The build should download fine, and the installation should kick off.

  • Type services in the Search Menu and launch the Services panel
  • Scroll to Windows Update
  • Right-click and select Stop
  • Restart your PC
  • Re-check for updates
  • The update should proceed as expected.

Also, many Insiders report they can’t install build 15025 due to error 0x800700b7. The steps listed above should fix this error as well.
